Moparfest 2012 — Sponsorship Programs
A few facts
The automotive restoration hobbyist is an excellent audience for most companies.
Most of the 23,000 visitors as well as all of the 1,713 show vehicle owners own multiple vehicles and the majority are homeowners. The average age of both attendees and spectators is 35 - 60 years of age. Approx 70% are male. Although the majority of the attendees are from south-western Ontario, some of the vehicles that attend the show come from coast to coast across Canada and the USA. 1,713 cars were shown in 2011. 1163 were preregistered and 550 were registered at the gate. 23,000 people came to see the cars. The cars came from 7 different provinces and 7 different states. 330 were first time shown (first timers). 224 cars were in club parking this year.
Over $75,000.00 in cash and cars was won over the weekend. On Saturday the participating Chrysler Dealers give away $5,000.00 in Mopar Cash to Kevin Addison from North Bay, ON. The New Hamburg Optimist vehicle winner of the Limited Edition Challenger call the Mopar 10 was Doug Clarke from New Hamburg with ticket #1482.
We are proud to be a completely volunteer run not-for-profit group who send over $150,000.00 to 15 different participating clubs again this year, which are all used for the betterment of the community, and youth work. That brings out total to over $2.5 million dollars in the past 33 years.
Package E — Package $300.00
This Sponsorship Package includes:
- The sponsors are allowed to setup signs, banners, flags, promo advertising etc., throughout the show grounds area on the grandstands, fences etc. These would be placed and removed by the sponsor.
- You have the opportunity to have items or flyers in our “goodie bags” which are handed out to all participants & vendors. These items must be received by the office by July 1st, 2012.
Package D — Package $600.00
This Sponsorship Package includes:
- You have the opportunity to have items or flyers in our “goodie bags” which are handed out to all participants & vendors. These items must be received by the office by July 1st, 2012.
- Your company logo will be on the Moparfest Sponsor page of our website. (at this time 411,323 “hits”)
- Your logo will be linked back to your websites
- An announcement will be made, complete with logo, where possible on:
- The Moparfest Facebook page (at the maximum of 5,000 “friends”)
- Moparfest’s Facebook Fan page (at this time 1,440 “friends”)
- Twitter (at this time 1,500 “followers”)
- The sponsors are allowed to setup signs, banners, flags promo advertising etc., throughout the show grounds area on the grandstands, fences etc. These would be placed and removed by the sponsor.
- Your company is given 4 free admission passes to the event to be used by your employees or customers.
Package C — Package $1500.00
This Sponsorship Package includes:
- Sponsor logo is shown on the 35,000 full colour show event flyers.
- 6,300 are mailed directly to the homes of previous show attendees.
- Tourist information centers, sponsoring hotels and businesses also receive them
- All Dodge dealers throughout Ontario receive bundles for their showroom.
- The remaining are handed out at events across Canada & USA.
- The mail out date is April 1, 2012; all artwork must be received by January 15, 2012.
- Any promotional draws you have at your booth can be announced by the MC throughout the day from the stage.
- We will need the wordage for the MC one week prior to the show.
- Promotional announcements can be made throughout the day by the MC from the stage.
- We will need the wordage for the MC one week prior to the show.

- Sponsor logo positioned on 1300 Participation Awards
- The plaques are 5x7 full colour plaques that are made by Plak-it. They are suitable for hanging on the wall.
- The plaques are given to the first 1000 show vehicles and the first 100 show vendors, Mopar Canada, Chrysler Canada, the participating Dodge dealers, and special guests.
- Sponsor logo is shown on the 35,000 full colour show event flyers.
- 6,300 are mailed directly to the homes of previous show attendees.
- Tourist information centers, sponsoring hotels and businesses also receive them
- All Dodge dealers throughout Ontario receive bundles for their showroom.
- The remaining are handed out at events across Canada & USA.
- The mail out date is April 1, 2012; all artwork must be received by January 15, 2012.
- Your company logo will appear on every page of the Moparfest website (www.moparfest.com) side bar and the bottom, as well as on the Moparfest Vendor and Sponsor pages.

- These would be placed and removed by you.
- Any promotional draws you have at your booth can be announced by the MC throughout the day from the stage.

Other ideas or opportunities that you may consider.
Branding or swag: One year we gave away custom made air fresheners with Moparfest on one side and Mitek Fine Auto on the other side. Everyone loved them. In the past we have also had companies sponsor our staff shirts and custom printed balloons for the kids.
Of course these all have different prices.
We ask all participants, vendors & sponsors to keep in mind that we are a “family” show.
